Field Organizers needed on competitive Virginia campaign

The Virginia House Democratic Caucus is hiring a number of field organizers to work on targeted House races throughout the Commonwealth.
Preference to applicants with:

• Previous paid or unpaid field experience at the local, state or federal levels.
• Familiarity with organizing tools including VAN.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
• Virginia ties a plus.

Applicants will need to provide their own:
• Cell phone
• Car
• Laptop

Expanding and Encouraging Student Voting

Since this is a redistricting year many localities choose now to change polling locations. When they do change it should be to make voting easier, no matter what political persuasion a school or community might have. If a university has enough registered voters to warrant a polling location then it should have one --- It is a simple as that.

FCDC Seeking Summer Interns

The Fairfax County Democratic Committee is looking for Summer interns to help build the Democratic Party and help our candidates win in November. Interns will work in a Democratic office with full time staff, distributing information, registering voters, assisting with volunteer recruitment, donor research and data entry and organizing volunteer support.

Perriello Removes the Asterisk

Perriello wins first debate, but is down in the polls

The first poll came out right after the debate and while it has Perriello losing, it is not a complete loss. Tom is not down very far and the poll was done before the debate reached voters. Tom has a lot of work ahead, but I feel that he will continue to reach out to voters and can make up this poll.
