WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Virginia Young Democrats (VAYD) are proud to announce a campaign partnership with a coalition of D.C. College Democrats Chapters. The partnership between VAYD and these chapters will yield thousands of voter contacts for Democratic Delegate candidates and the statewide slate of Democratic candidates, Creigh Deeds for Governor, Jody Wagner for Lt. It was a Happy 22nd Birthday for JMU Young Dems President Lauren Gilbert last night. Her and her chapter made 500 calls for Gene Hart (Democratic candidate in the 26th) and the statewide ticket. To celebrate her birthday, the campaigns got her a cake (you can spot the Hart button and the Deeds sign)! Happy Birthday, Lauren!!!

Job: Field Organizer / Youth Organizer
Location: Varies – all over commonwealth.Compensation: $300 Weekly Stipend, Free Housing, Partial Gas Reimbursement
Time Commitment: Rolling start dates from now through the Election, end date November 7th
Why: Help the Democrats keep the governor’s mansion and take back the House of Delegates!
